Just watched the Tibor video, a PR exercise for mr Ramacro, he is branding all of us as the exjw that is difficult to navigate, and Tibor in his closing comments is speaking about how we are basic lowlifes that make stuff up. Also he speaks about his company and TIbor employed by him as a matter of fact, as if true exjw activism is a business to be in.

He is not going guys, he is here to stay.

One theory goes that the black ash created by a nuclear explosion would cool temperatures at the Earth’s surface, resulting in less temperature difference between the lower and upper atmosphere. Rainfall would drastically decline and thrust large regions across the globe into drought.

But I'm more inclined to believe that God will cause the draught like in Elijah's days.

'The skies over your head will be copper, and the earth beneath you, iron. 24 Jehovah will make the rain of your land powder and dust that will come down on you from the heavens until you have been annihilated." (Deu.28:23,24)

Pete, oh I see where you're coming from, no I went the exact opposite way, I believe that Revelation is far more stranger and apocalyptic than jws believe it to be.

This is the commonly held position of jw teaching that "men" have been polluting the earth since 1914, whereas the verse in Revelation 11:18 speaks about a specific destruction taking place during the last 3 1/2 years.

Also my reasoning is based on the fact that the verse divides humans in groups : Nations (=unbelievers) and the holy ones(=believers).The way the verse is structured leaves the "destroyers of the earth" as a 3rd distinct group.

Interestingly , the concept of the fallen angels destroying the earth during the End Times has been popularised by films and books in recent years. I recommend you watch "Captive State" on Amazon Prime or "Colony".

(* yes I'm a firm believer that the powers to be are familiarising us now using these media about these future destressing events now.

And yes, Revelation is sci-fi beyond your imagination )

This is a forum, you post your diatribe and people are allowed to commend on it. Maybe a little humility won't go amiss, if you don't like people challenging your thesis do not post.

You will find me on jw updates channel on a weekly basis reading from original Greek Koini and commenting on it, I'm pretty sure you are proficient enough to do the same.

By the way, can you also explain to me how the word dia-pthiro is used also in the book of Revelation to describe destroyed ships? Are they destroyed morally?

@enoughisenough ,the 7 year period is based on Daniel 9:27 that describes the final week, the seven-year tribulation period: “[A ruler](=the Antichrist) will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” Jesus refers to this passage in Matthew 24:15. The ruler who confirms the covenant and then sets up the abomination is called “the beast” in Revelation 13. According to Daniel 9:27, the beast’s covenant will be for seven years, but in the middle of this week (3 ½ years into the tribulation), the beast will break the covenant, putting a stop to the Jewish sacrifices. Revelation 13 explains that the beast will place an image of himself in the temple and require the world to worship him. Revelation 13:5 says that this will go on for 42 months, which is 3 ½ years (the second half of the tribulation).

This is not a jw teaching but that's what most mainstream Christian escatologists believe today. I hope that helps...
